Time zones

  1. LOL. You really crack me up. Now that I'm getting older, I'm discovering a new perspective on time. They say that time goes by faster when you get older, which I've experienced. But in another way, time really does seem to stand still. I feel like I'm the same age as people twenty years younger, even though it's obvious that the feeling isn't mutual! When I hang out with people my own age I sometimes feel like I'm hanging out with my parents. Weird.

  2. That's rather insightful, Brad.

I've had several repsonses to this cartoon, (on another site that features my strip), and each was different...either someone finding the statement funny, (because they are young enough to relate to parents still living in the 80's), or someone responding as you do.

Admittedly, I respond to the whole subject just like you. I'm constantly thinking "wow, that can't be 10 years ago or 20 years ago that such and such happened, can it?" Like the '85 Bears, for example...

  3. True. The Chicago Cubs 1908 World Series seems like only eighty years ago to me...
